Merry Christmas!

Pictures from our trip to Florida!! (in no particular order.)

Bowen and Papa. My dad is completely smitten with Bo. And Bo with him. So funny to watch.

I love this picture for so many reasons. Yes, we dressed Bo up as Santa. Yes, Bo got a dancing, singing Santa for Christmas, yes, he was confused, and wanted to eat Santa's feet. Funny all around.

Only in Florida. Notice the light is green. Waiting for them to finish so that I can go... (There's 8!)

Love this picture.

This is one of my favorite roads in Tallahassee. Shaun's too. Makes me miss home.

These next couple of pictures are from Bradley's Country Store. (We talked about it last year.) Love it, and the fresh sausage.

This is the road we took to get to Bradley's. Nothing like living in the South.

These next pictures are from Dorthy B. Oven Park. Love the Christmas lights, and Bowen's little face in them.

This is the day Bo learned to roll all the way over. Notice the tummy time mat to the left. I wasn't gone 5 min (unloading groceries.) and came back to find him like this. He's just growing leaps and bounds. He can completely spin in a circle on his belly to get to what ever he wants. Such a silly little boy.

Ok, and this is where I get frustrated with Blogger and stop posting next to the pictures, because the formatting is WAY off.

The Santa on the motorcycle was on the same road that I said was our favorite earlier. He was a pleasant surprise, and even paused long enough for us to get a picture! Love it!

The picture of Bowen asleep is when Shaun took Bo in the Ergo and he fell asleep while walking. Love that picture. My mom calls it Bo's turtle shell. (Which is particularly true when the sleeping hood is up. You only see arms, and legs, no head. Very funny.)

Three pictures of Bowen and our Christmas Tree (At my dad's house.) He LOVED it. And then he tried to eat it.... Typical. :)

The last two pictures were taken when we had Christmas at our apartment before flying.

Bowen's such a happy boy. At his 4 month check up he was just a couple of ounces shy of 14 lbs, and exactly 2 feet long. (Our Dr. think we measured just before a growth spurt, which I'll attest to. Boy's been eating like crazy.)

Funny story: While waiting for the Dr., Bo was getting restless so we decided to let him have some tummy time on the exam table. The doc came in within a min, just as Bo was getting warmed up. His words to us. "I'm so sorry." and "Good luck." Our Dr. thinks Bo will be crawling before his 6 month appointment. He's sure trying to. He'll raise his butt up in the air, while on both knees, and then launch himself forward. Moving just a couple of inches at a time. Soon he'll lift his belly up, but that'll come with time.

He's recently become OBSESSED with his toes. He wants them all the time, and as of three days ago he can grab his foot and put his toes in his mouth all by himself. Which also means he hates socks, they just get in between his mouth and his toes, and that's no good!

He's such a flirt, and everyone falls in love with him instantly. He loves to fly through the air. He loves to play peek-a-boo (with Daddy.... He gets sad and scared when I leave..... He laughs and giggles with Shaun.... Oh well.)

He is a mama's boy if there ever was one. He loves being next to me. He loves cuddling with me. His face lights up when he hears my voice. But playing with daddy is the best. Mom=cuddle Dad= play.

He's recently been swiping anything he can get his hands on. Plates of food, toys, drinks, lips, noses, you name it.

Laughing has now become common place in our home. Bo's always giggling at something. Which brings me to another point. He is LOUD. So very LOUD. He has no volume control. Especially in restaurants.

He's also teething up a storm. His drool output has increases three or four fold. And his little gums are almost bursting at the seams.

He's also getting better at sitting, by himself, unassisted. He can lean forward, and prop himself up, almost no problem.

I think that's just about all. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and heres to a great New Years!

Love,

Shaun, Kirsten, and Bowen
